Modern stem cell and embryology research has the potential to revolutionise medicine, but some see it as ‘playing God’.

Writer Philip Ball and researcher Selina Wray from the 'Brains in a dish' team joined the debate, discussing cutting edge stem cell research that could provide new insights into dementia, & the ethical implications of growing human brain organoids or 'mini-brains'.

They joined a panel of scientists and policy experts as they discuss the latest developments in genetic medicine and whether we are ready for the ethical challenges these technologies raise.
