Come and be part of a brand new experiment about the brain! Dance meets science in this interactive workshop, devised by neuroscientist Selina Wray & artist Charlie Murphy.
As part of the Created Out of Mind 'Brains in a dish' project, we invite you to animate the development of the brain and the connections between cells through a series of choreographed movements to well-known pop songs.
Patterns and formations of neuronal growth, connection, communication and degeneration will be celebrated through a variety of movements, groupings and wearable technologies bringing disco dancing into the heart of molecular neurochemistry.
There will also be a Neuronal Disco for kids aged 7-11 years at 11am, you can book tickets for this event here.
Enjoy this event as part of the 'Normal? Festival of the Brain', which runs from Thurs 25th- Sun 28th May 2017. Download the full programme.
