Creative Adventures in Dementia: A Life More Ordinary Festival

Created Out of Mind will be joining A Life More Ordinary’ at The Dukes in Lancaster, a unique 2 day exploration on 17th-18th May of how the arts are touching the lives of people living with dementia in wonderful and remarkable ways.

On Thursday 17th May, Created Out of Mind Director and neuropsychologist Sebastian Crutch will deliver a keynote talk and Co-Director and musician Julian West will be delivering a musical workshop with the Music for Life team. 

They are joining a team of pioneering artists, practitioners, researchers, writers and others, working collaboratively with people with dementia, in a variety of settings and in unique ways.

A Life More Ordinary is a 3 year project led by The Dukes, which aims to improve the lives of people with dementia and memory loss and their friends and families, by providing fun creative activities and film screenings in an adapted environment.
